Camp Director
Henny Lang is the visionary founder and director of Camp SOAR!, bringing years of experience working with individuals with special needs and a deep passion for creating inclusive, joyful experiences.
With a background in special education and a heart full of dedication, Henny recognized the need for a travel camp specifically designed for women with developmental disabilities. Her dream became reality with the launch of Camp SOAR!

Our Mission
Camp SOAR! is dedicated to providing women with special needs an extraordinary summer experience filled with adventure, personal growth, and meaningful connections. We believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where every camper can thrive, explore, and discover the joy of new experiences.
Why We Started
We noticed a gap in summer programming for adult women with developmental disabilities. While there are many programs for children, options for adults are limited. Camp SOAR! was created to fill this void, offering a travel camp experience that celebrates independence while providing necessary support.
